  • See I can update more than once

Well last night Leiana decided to stay up till about 1:00am.  Daddy learned something new, keep her awake from about 7pm to 9:30pm if possible.  This helps her sleep through the night better.  I fell asleep on the family room floor bouncing her in her vibrating bouncy chair.  Thank the Lord for whoever invented those things.  Anyways, I need to get to work but thought I would prove I can update my site more frequently than people think

  • I'm A Daddy!!

Well, I suppose the fact that I'm now a dad means I ought to update this site a bit.  Perhaps a new focus ought to be brought to it.

Pictures well... those can be had at my wife's site: skywalker72521.  Its just easier than posting twice.  I have discovered finally that one baby can produce more garbage than two adults.  How is this possible? I do not know.  I just know that I have taken the trash out while at home more frequently in the last three days than I ever did when it was just Jenelle and me in the house.  Also, these little kids don't exactly have huge diapers or anything.  Apparently its all the extra stuff that I've "had" to purchase since getting home.  Also, if you want to make money on the stock market right now I would invest in Huggies and Pampers.  They're not going out of business ANY TIME SOON!

That is all for now.  Bye

PS: Here's my absolute favorite picture so far (yes we posed her for the fun of it).

    Holy Cow !!!!!

Well, it has been a while since I last posted.  Boy life sure has been busy.  Jenelle and I went on a mini vacation to the mountains, we installed new book shelves (I recommend looking at them on her xanga site) and we've been getting our selves set for the new year.  I think Jenelle even went out to California since I last posted.  Geez I'm terrible.

Well, I don't have much to say right now. I'm trying to come up with stuff, but frankly not a whole lot is coming to mind at the moment.  Work is busy, home is relaxing, and the Spiderwick Chronicles is a really good movie .  I enjoyed it b/c it was a great adventure that didn't look like it was too over the top.  The characters were very human and you could easily relate to them, but at the same time very heroic.  The plot didn't lag at all, and actually kept my interest without falling prey to the whole "its fantasy so we have to do a trilogy."  I feel like its wrapped up nicely and done very well.  On the whole 4.5 stars.

I'm going to have to get my taxes done earlier this year. I told Jenelle I needed the office cleaned up before I could do them so I could spread out a bit since there are a lot of documents to do.  And what would you guess happens... Jenelle cleaned up the office .  So, yeah... no more excuses.  Well, thats all for now.  I'll post again sooner than last time, don't worry.

  • Good monday morning...

Well everyone, its monday morning and I've had an incredibly good weekend.  I got a lot of work done on the website for my father-in-law's website.  Sorry it's not done yet so I'm not handing it out for all to see.  Jenelle and I finally got a normal night's sleep last night.  My goodness going to bed at 10:00pm never felt so good.  Since we got back we've been sort of stuck on central time so we keep going to sleep around 11 or 12 at night.  Usually not a huge deal except for the fact that getting up at 6:00am for work gets tough.

In other news we watched some fun movies this weekend. I haven't seen Return to Me in a long time and I forgot how funny the four old guys are .  Yeah, I'm a bit of a sap but I like David Duchovny in a completely different role than when he was in X-files.  You may not agree with me on that but thats fine.  We still haven't taken down the Christmas tree yet.  Thats always a chore :-\.  In still more other news my dad is working hard on Jenelle's book cases.  They look amazing.  They're going to be huge and I can't wait to see them in our family room. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is having to move our thermostat.  I think I've picked out a decent spot unfortunately it means jumping around in the attic trying to fish wire's down walls and such.  Oh well, perhaps I'll get Dad to help me with it a bit.

Well, tata for now.  Nothing overly interesting going on.  Oh, and Jenelle and I are going on vacation again in a couple weeks.  If you're nice I'll tell you where

  • Merry Christmas!!!

To all who read my pathetic excuse for a blog...  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!  Jenelle and I are having a blast up in Chicago.  I can't believe how much I needed a vacation.  Thanksgiving was nice at home with Mom and Dad but I definitely needed some time away from Raleigh and with friends who have absolutely no interest in doing anything related to business.

So, Christmas was a lot of fun.  We got up on Christmas morning at 8:00AM b/c for the first time in history my wife was more impatient to open present than I was.  I felt like sleeping in... She was like "its Christmas its time to get up... its time to get up....".  I'm sure you can imagine this .  Anyways, we had a lot of fun opening presents and as usual it started with the youngest giving out gifts.  Brittany gave everyone a CD that she made.  And it sounds cheesy until you realize that its a Christmas CD that she made with Jenelle and Grant in her recording study in the music room.  IT'S AMAZING!!!  She has quite the beautiful voice, as does Jenelle.  And it was a real treat to get to hear Grant on there as well.  He didn't exactly sing, his lines were supposed to be spoken, but it still was really cool.

Claire gave me a picture she had taken for a Photography class.  I think I'll put it on my desk at work maybe.  Its very pretty.  Evan and Grant gave me a sweater, and apparently a game is in the works too.  We just have to find a store that sells the one they're looking for.  And Jenelle's dad gave us all massive Gift Cards to Borders (can't wait to buy DVDs) and huge boxes of chocolate for our stockings.  So the last bit of information was Daddy's presents to all of us.  I'll keep everyone's presents to myself so they can blog about them.  But first, Daddy had told us we were going to go skiing on Christmas day.  Well, Mommy got sick with the flu and so he decided to cancel.  Therefore he gave us another surprise.  They bought everyone tickets to go see Phantom of the Opera in Downtown Chicago on Saturday!!!!  We were all incredibly excited.  It was definitely a worth while consolation.  In fact, I'd rather go to Phantom than Ski any day of the week because I can't ski .  So that was present #1.  Present #2 from Daddy to me was what I'm typing on right now... a brand new Macbook.  WOW!!!!!  I couldn't believe it.  I couldn't believe it.  Jenelle I think might have been happier than me b/c now she gets her laptop back and I can quit bothering her for it .  So now I'm typing away on my new laptop and looking forward to doing some web development on it for her dad.  So presents were amazing.

Now, its off to downstairs to go make a movie.  That's right... Its a Fantastic Existence is filming today .
